The Lucky Star (ラッキー・スター, Rakkī Sutā) is a pirate ship among the ships that gathered at the Pirate's Nest. Its captain is Koja [1][2].

The Lucky Star's hull has a box-like shape with a slightly curved roof and more strongly curved underside. A long pole with a small probe at the end, extends from the front of the lower hull with part of the upper hull overhanging it. On top of the hull is a tower, similar to a conning tower, with a dish attached to the top and fins slightly lower down at the rear. Ahead of this tower is a covered, three-cannon turret. The Lucky Star has two large coned engines attached either side of the rear of the ship, each with a missile pod mounted on top of them and a beam cannon on their side. There is also at least one smaller engine at the lower stern. On the underside of the ship is an antenna mast with several panels and a viewing point for gunners.

Colour SchemeEdit

The Lucky Star has a dark green colour scheme with teal coloured engine cones [1][2].

Technology & Combat CharacteristicsEdit

The Lucky Star is armed with multiple beam cannons on the side and upper side of the ship and has two missile pods mounted on the side engines [1].

Pirate Hunter Arc (Anime-Only)Edit

Pirate's Nest - Main Port

The Lucky Star moored at the Pirate's Nest (centre right)

When the call summoning the frontier pirates was sent out in response to the attacks by the Grand Cross, the Lucky Star was one of the ships that heeded the summon and headed for the Pirate's Nest. It remained moored there during the Pirate's Council [3]. It is unknown whether or not it participated in the battle due to Koja's actions and his subsequent relegation, though given that it didn't synchronise with the other main pirate ships it seems unlikely [4].

Fever Mouretsu Pirates (Game-Only)Edit

Koja and the Lucky Star appear as opponents for Marika and the Bentenmaru in the game's second Galaxy Episode. Depending on circumstances, the two face each other either in a swordfight or ship-to-ship, with the outcome resting on the player's actions [5].

  • The Lucky Star was not named in the series itself, but was named in supplementary material [2][6].
