Master Dragon (マスター・ドラゴン, Masutā Doragon) is the captain of the pirate ship, Shangri-La.

AppearanceEdit

Master Dragon has red eyes and black, spiky hair with thick eyebrows. He wears a headband and a dark blue mask over his mouth. He has a dark blue battle-suit, yellow arm and shoulderguards, a red waist-tie and yellow waist guards, diagonal chest-bands, dark blue shouderpads with a skull mark on the left one. He also wears a light brown scarf.

Personality & CharacterEdit

Not much of Master Dragon's personality is seen, but he appears to be fairly serious. He also seems to appreciate good food [1].

BackgroundEdit

At some point in the past, Master Dragon acquired his Letter of Marque and captaincy of the Shangri-La.

PlotEdit

Pirate Hunter Arc (Anime-Only)Edit

When Quartz Christie appeared in the conference room, Master Dragon was among the captains who gathered there and witnessed Marika's challenge to Quartz. He was also present with the rest of the pirate captains for the council and the accompanying feast. When the captains decided to leave Koja (who had slipped away from the table to kill Quartz despite the no-killing rule in the Pirate's Nest), Master Dragon said that he needed a hard lesson. At the after-party, he enjoyed the dessert, calling it the ultimate taste, sweetness that melts the rough heart of a pirate [1].

Master Dragon's shield

During the battle, he was among the boarding party that boarded the Grand Cross after his ship rammed it. He made use of a portable shield, activated by a hand sign, to deflect incoming beams from the defence robots and ordered his men forward. After Quartz fled the Grand Cross, the pirates retreated to the Shangri-La and withdrew, watching as the ship self-destructed. Master Dragon was later seen watching Marika announcing their victory to the fleet and seemed to be pleased [2].

Fever Mouretsu Pirates (Game-Only)Edit

Master Dragon and the Shangri-La appear as opponents for Marika and the Bentenmaru in the game's third Galaxy Episode. Depending on circumstances, the two face each other either in a swordfight or ship-to-ship, with the outcome resting on the player's actions [3].

Skills & AbilitiesEdit

Master Dragon presumably has the skills that are necessary for one to be a pirate captain, as well as various combat skills.

RelationshipsEdit

Frontier PiratesEdit

Master Dragon's exact relationships with the other frontier pirate captains aren't fully known, though he appears to respect them, with the exception of Koja, whom he reckoned needed to be taught a hard lesson [1].
