"Her first electronic battle. Her first practice cruise. The tides of fate pull the girl towards the great sea. Will the sparkle of space that she sees tell her? Next time, on Mouretsu Pirates: The Odette II Leaves Port. Look forward to it."

  • The docked ships listed on the monitor while Marika and Chiaki are searching for the source of the electronic attack include:
Name Type
Tanba Cargo ship
Artemis Passenger ship
Luxembourg Warship
Amaterasu Cargo ship
Hermes Passenger ship
Takemikadtuchi Cargo ship
Poseidon Passenger ship
Hestia Passenger ship
Amenouzume Cargo ship
Netherlands Warship
Ares Passenger ship
Ookuninushi Cargo ship
Apollon Passenger ship

  • The names shown on the list of ships docked at the relay station follow several patterns; the warships are named after countries, the passenger ships after Greek deities (specifically Olympians) and cargo ships after Japanese divinities.
  • Marika is playing Jenga when Kane arrives at the yacht club.
  • In the original broadcast, when Misa is viewing the data Hyakume sent, the Odette II's name is spelt as 'Odetto II', as opposed to how it is spelt in later episodes.
  • Marika's first firearms training session is featured as an event in Fever Mouretsu Pirates [1].
